Among today's news stories is a report that Dublin CIty Council is to fell one of O’Connell Street’s large London Plane trees, which was badly damaged by fire during Dublin riots last November, as Ministers are set to consider a further cut in payments to Ukrainian refugees and will meet today to discuss the Government’s communication plan after a tented encampment for asylum seekers in Mount Street was removed yesterday.
